Our Founder: Jim TerWee
Jim TerWee started working with computers in 1977 and it soon became his passion (along with snowmobiling). After earning a Master’s Degree in computer science from the Missouri Institute of Technology, he spent the next two decades writing software for some of the world’s largest companies and government agencies. Jim moved to Hallock, Minnesota in 1990, taking care to maintain his business contacts. Jim recognized the potential of the Internet immediately and in 1997 he founded what would become InvisiMax.
Jim passed away at the age of 49 on July 18th 2006, after a seven month struggle with Cancer. Jim was the founder of our company and a visionary in our industry. Jim was Chief Technology Officer, but he was first and foremost a Husband, Father, and a friend to many people in this area. Jim was a driving force behind our company and he will be missed dearly, not just by us, but by the many customers he provided invaluable services to.
